吳美琪擅長以徒手架設不可能的鮮豔光影場景，被幻視的空間凌駕於常理之上，在切割空間維度的過程當中， 俗常的物件蛻變成為擁有強勢姿態感的靜物，創作者的姿態也如同擁有孩童心胸的造物主，玩心一開就不願放手。
Wu MeiChi specialises in handcrafting extraordinarily vivid settings of light and shadow that foreground illusionary spaces. In these spatial dimensions, existing familiar objects are transformed into peculiar still lifes. With a whimsical attitude, she possesses a childlike, innocent stubbornness: one that is reluctant to let go of play.
